You will have a free acces to all images taken the last 2 years, however without the possibility to download them. To get a full acces to all images,you must possess a valid and personal Login and Password.

How quickly are pictures downloaded?
The Tim De Waele/TDWsport server ensures an optimal connection onto the Internet. The download time depends on 'the weakest link'- from your own provider/modem.
After I've downloaded the pictures can I store or re-use the images?
No, that is not permitted. Photos which are downloaded may only be kept for a maximum of 1 month on your computer. After that they must be removed. Saving them on CD-rom, disc, Zip file or any other medium is expressly forbidden without prior permission. Should you wish to publish a picture at a later stage then you must download it again.
How do I get an UserID and Password?
As long as you agree with the conditions, you can fill in the Password Application form giving all your details. I'll contact you within 24 hours and after verification of your details, you will receive your unique and personal Login and Password.
How does Tim De Waele/TDWsport know which pictures I have downloaded?
All the downloads and other actions are registered by the Tim De Waele/TDWsport server.
What does 'to Zip' mean?
To Zip means that the server of Tim De Waele/TDWsport places the pictures you have selected to download (in your shopping-list cart) in a folder. In this way you only have to download 1 item containing your order instead of downloading all the pictures separately. Also in practice it has been proved that this way of downloading is less malfuntion sensitive.
What does the name of the downloaded zipfolder mean?
The name of the file is for expl. '10747671749568.zip'. "10747671749568" is just a timestamp automatically created by the program.
How do I know if I have a Zip-program on my MAC?
Via the 'Applekey' + 'F' you start the browser on your computer (sherlock). Type 'stuffit' and let a search be done on your harddisk(s). Look carefully between the hits shown on your screen and see if you have the PROGRAM Stuffit Expander. If it shows you do not have this you can simply download it here: http://www.aladdinsys.com
How do I know if I have a Zip-program on my PC?
Windows XP has an integrated zip program. For other versions go to the STARTMENU you go to 'FIND" en select 'FILES or FOLDERS". Type 'winzip' and let a search be done on your harddisk(s). Look carefully between the hits shown on your screen and see if you have the PROGRAM Winzip. If it shows you do not have this you can simply download it here http://www.winzip.com

No, we only give advice from our own experience.
Does the Zipping harm the quality of the downloaded pictures?
No, it doesn't. It only puts all the pictures in 1 folder and doesn't compress the photo's; so the quality stays the same.
Can I change my UserID and Password?
Yes, just send me an e-mail, email@example.com and I'll send you your personal new ID/Password.
Is 'Zipping' and 'Unzipping' safe?
Yes, nothing can happen.
How much does publication of a TDWsport.com photo cost in my media?
That depends on your type of medium, the method of use, circulation and size of publication. For example a quarter of a page, half page, full page and 'cover' usage have each different fees. To receive a price list for your specific medium, please send me an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Must I pay for each download?
No, downloading itself is free of charge. You only pay in case you use the picture. It's important that Tim De Waele/TDWsport knows how the photo is eventually used in your medium. As our client you're obliged to report the manner of publication and space size within 30 days by e-mail: email@example.com . You must also send us verification by way of sending the publication free of charge to: TDWsport BVBA, Blankenbergestraat 39, B-9000 Gent, Belgium . I will independently check publication in the media and compare them with the downloads to avoid any misunderstandings.
Am I allowed to fit the picture into a space of my choice by cutting out/cropping?
Yes. Most of Tim De Waele/TDWsport pictures are digitized with extra room left around a subject or the action in question. The advantage is that the person who's looking for a specific picture can crop the photo himself to his own needs and liking. Experience shows that a photo required for a cover or a spread should not be too closely cropped. Tim De Waele/TDWsport leaves that up to you.
Is a subscription for use of Tim De Waele/TDWsport images possible on a yearly basis?
Yes, that's possible and it could be in your interest. When you subscribe for an agreed amount (fee) you can use all images from my image bank (limited or unlimited depending on the agreement) for your specific medium or agreed period of time. Feel free to contact me an I'll explain you the possibilities and provide you whit a personal quotation.
How good is the quality of Tim De Waele/TDWsport digital pictures?
Most of the images in the Tim De Waele/TDWsport image bank are digitalised in a size of ± 16 Mb with a resolution of 300dpi. The pictures are in JPEG- format compressed to a file of ± 2-3 Mb. The quality of these pictures is sufficient for publication on a full color page and glossy magazine spread, poster formats,...

What name credit must appear with the published photograph?
At all times the name "©Tim De Waele" and/or '©Tim De Waele/TDWsport' must appear. You receive this information (CREDITS) on the file info with each picture. (IPTC info).
After using a Tim De Waele/TDWsport image what must I do?
Within 30 days of the publication date you are obliged to inform Tim De Waele/TDWsport. The best way to do so is by sending an e-mail to email@example.com stating the subject of the photograph, event, name, etc.,) the file name of the photo, size used and manner of publication. Also you should send (at no cost to us) an example of the published work to TDWsport BVBA, Blankenbergestraat 39, B-9000 Gent, Belgium
How does the Tim De Waele/TDWsport image bank work?
Click on the button 'Image desk' and 'Pro Acces'. A new window will open where you can fill in your Password and UserID . (Don't you have any userID and password yet, please apply for one first). After your details are verified you will enter the Tim De Waele/TDWsport image bank. You will than have access to all images on the image bank. It's possible to look and search in 2 different ways, by 'Feature' ( divided by year and/or mounth) or by using 'Search'. If you click on a subject in 'Feature' you'll see all images concerning that specific feature. If you're using 'Search' to find a specific picture or subject, you will have to fill in the keywords fields using Names, subjects and/or use at the same time (to be more specific) the 'Extra', 'Category Sport', 'Year' buttons. If you want to download one or more pictures you can do so by selecting and clicking into the white square below each picture. After you're finished making your choice, you click on 'Add pictures to shopper'. All pictures will then be put, after a final confirmation, into the 'Shopper' list where you can find them back and download them afterwards on your desktop.
